The highest prevalence of coronary heart disease is at the age of 25-34 years, followed by the age group of 15-24 years and it is seen that coronary heart disease has appeared in the young age group by 0.7% and the prevalence increases at the age of 45-54 years and above, the highest at the age of 65-74 years by 3.6% above the age of 75 years decreased slightly to 3.2%. The prevalence of coronary heart disease sufferers is higher in the group of no school and no elementary school graduates compared to the group of elementary school graduates and above(Ghani & Novriani, 2016).

What is the relationship between uncontrolled use of technology and heart disease? The relationship is that uncontrolled use of technology makes its users lazy to exercise their bodies and lazy to move a lot so that the body cannot metabolize properly.

Therefore, over time, the fat in the body increases and accumulates, which has an impact on obstructing blood circulation and causing the heart to work faster than it should, resulting in death due to heart failure or heart disease.

However, is there no other option to overcome this? Of course prevention is better than cure, here I explain the steps to prevent heart disease efficiently and effectively and easily applied in everyday life without affecting work activities.

1.    Increase Physical Activity

To increase physical activity is very easy and can be done anytime and anywhere. Actually, to keep the body healthy, there is no reason because of being busy working so that you cannot do physical activity or exercise. Exercising is very simple, just by doing 15 minutes of gymnastics a day in the morning is enough for office workers who have to rush to the office in the morning.

 

2.    Healthy Eating Patterns

A healthy diet is consuming food regularly and on time and consuming foods that contain a lot of protein, vitamins such as fruits, tempeh, tofu, milk, eggs, meat etc., and consuming a lot of mineral water (min. 4 liters/day). However, avoiding consuming foods that contain a lot of fat and oil is also no less important to keep the body healthy and fit.

 

3.    Maintain Personal and Environmental Cleanliness

Cleanliness is part of faith, cleanliness is very important because cleanliness reflects beauty, especially as we are social beings who are always in relationships with many people, of course this is very important and striking to a person's personality. Likewise with the environment, a clean and comfortable environment certainly makes people who are and live in that environment must be healthy because they always breathe fresh air. At least clean the environment once every 3 days, depending on the area of ​​residence.

 

4.    Avoid Cigarettes and Smoke

Smoking is a very common thing and we often encounter it in various places.Smoking has many negative effects that are dangerous to human health, and the habit of smoking not only harms the smoker himself, but also threatens the surrounding community.

The content of cigarettes causes damage and various diseases in the mouth such as periodontitis (infection of the gums), diseases of the esophagus such as pharyngitis (infection of the pharynx) and laryngitis (infection of the larynx or vocal cords), diseases of the bronchi such as bronchitis (infection of the bronchi), and diseases of the lungs such as lung cancer.(Tivany Ramadhani et al., 2023).

 

5.    Routine Health Check

Checking your health is a very important thing to do for everyone. Why? Because sometimes we don't know that with a very good condition and never feeling severe pain, it turns out that our body has been suffering from chronic diseases without us realizing it, so it's too late to prevent it. Spending money to check your health a little is better than having to spend money later to treat the disease.
